Shaping up to be a big year on the hard court for Lon Kruger and his squad. This team is getting both local and national respect, which means the expectations will be much higher than they’ve been in some time. To that very point, OU was picked third in this year’s Big 12 preseason poll in what should be one of the better leagues in the country. Sooners even received a first place vote from one coach (that wasn’t Kruger as the coaches aren’t allowed to vote for their own teams, btw).
