In the ESPN link about alabama, I was amazed at how little credit they gave to Oklahoma’s offense being better then they were. I guess reality sucks!!! Did anybody else notice this or am I just completely bias??

    • Sooner_Ace says:

no credit was given at all…nice catch

    • Shifty says:

Shepard is still running wild on Collins and co…seriously they couldn’t contain him…the refs did when they whistled him out of bounds when he wasn’t…Shep should be disappoint at the level of play he had to go up against after all of the hype and talk of the sec…Sheps says welcome to the B12 bama

  • SoonerPhins says:

Landon Collins needs to watch what he says. If I remember correctly he was only on the field because of injuries. Bama had to be gifted the BCS CG in 2011 and were lucky Ohio State wasn’t eligible in 2012. Bama has had some lucky breaks in the past years

  • Jordan Esco says:

Not sure why the Peyton Manning pic got taken down. I’ll try to find it elsewhere and repost.

  • TheMind___Gap says:

Saying the team that just embarrassed you on national television didn’t even belong in the same field as you is just beyond ridiculous. The whole country could and did see that if any team didn’t belong on the field that night, it was Alabama.

  • Jim says:

The “butt hurt” is strong in Landon Collins. He pisses and moans like his mother on NSD. Like someone in the Twitter feed said, “Take your ass-whoopin’ like a man.”

  • Zack says:

So is there a school yet that hasn’t offered jaylon lane? It seems like he gets an offer every 6 hours.

  • SoonerBredCD says:

It wasn’t just the secondary Landon. Your offensive and defensive lines got their asses whipped also. Luckily you had Derrick Henry or it would have been a real train wreck.

  • blaster1371 says:

I’ve talked to several Alabama fans ( funny how that crowd has grown over the last five years) since the Sugar Bowl and I didn’t hear a single one say what that dude said. In fact, they mostly took the loss with good things to say about OU.

  • shawn says:

I personally don’t like the offer to Ridley, he can obviously play and seems to have great speed and vision but I don’t like flashy players like he seems to be. Kinda reminds me of Kenny Stills, and I was personally never a fan of his either. Again not that he wasn’t a good player just seemed like a prima donna.

    • TheMind___Gap says:

Yeah cause we sure wouldn’t want another Kenny Stills around here…

      • shawn says:

Me personally no… But to each his own right. I feel like he could have been much better than he was and I thought it looked like he gave up on a lot of plays, but I’m not him for all I know he was giving his all every time. Again I thought he was a good player but could have been much better.

    • Zack says:

Stills didn’t want to go over the middle I’m ok with that he was an excellent receiver and yeah prima donna is not an attitude you want if you want to compete for championships. But man he had/has all the talent you could want in a wide out. I like the current attitude of this team going forward.

      • shawn says:

That was kind of the point I was trying to make but you worded it much better than I did. I don’t mean to knock stills he is a great receiver it’s just the attitude that I prefer not to see in any of the guys on OU’s roster.

        • Zack says:

Yeah I agree it sucks but a lot of these guys know they’re playing for a chance at the nfl but some guys would rather stay healthy long enough to get to the nfl and then show everything they’re capable of. Look at demarco to a lesser extent after his knee injury early in his ou career he didn’t fight too much for extra yards. And then as a rookie for Dallas he looked like a steal because he showed what he really could do.

  • SoonerPhins says:

Any one know who Matthew Hobson is? I guess he was at OU the other day talking with Norvell. Couldn’t find him on 247, espn, rivals.. Any Info from TFB?

    • SoonerPhins says:

Lol could have taken 15 seconds to look at the roster, but who needs that anyways.

  • Sooner Ray says:

Nothing about Ridley makes me say”wow” but if the coaches think he’s worth recruiting then I’m all for it.

  • SoonerfanTU says:

Who is that girl shooting baskets, and is she looking for a nice accountant-type to settle down with?!?

  • Zack says:

So…over/under on this Collins guy’s total games played next season. 0.5 games. I’ll take the under

    • Shifty says:

Landon Collins? He’ll play in all of them baring injury or other reason to miss games..he’s a talented safety but he needs to realize that Shep and other guys on our team are just as talented and on that day Shep was taking him to school

      • EasTex says:

        And Bester, too.

      • Zack says:

Do you think saban liked those comments? It made him sound like he wasn’t there when ou stomped their defense.

        • Shifty says:

I don’t know if Saban liked them or not but I don’t think they were worthy of a benching especially with the depth of their back end (I fig they were litter w 5star dbs but apparently they have some issues)
